Job Description The General Engineer must have a minimum of 5 years commercial or industrial Journeyman experience in one or more of the following areas: Installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of various types of kitchen equipment including steam, electric and gas cooking, food preparation, ware washing and disposal equipment; electrical and lighting systems; beverage systems; mechanical systems and equipment; plumbing systems, carpentry, carpet and tile, or paint. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a 4 year accredited apprenticeship program; and be fluent in English. Must be able to read, understand and work from blueprints, drawings, schematics and sketches and be proficient in the safe use of all trade related hand and power tools, safety and protective equipment.
